Mr. Lachhman Karamchandani

Fondly nicknamed Ken by our loyal customers, Mr. Lachhman Karamchandani founded Gemsstar Jewelers in 1986. A keen networker, with a talent for Sales and Operations Management, Ken grew the business since its inception opening several jewelry outlets across key areas of the city. He has been instrumental in the business's success and is an inspiration to all the members of the organization. Today, Ken's experienced hand guides that of his son, Gary. Together, they have seen the business soar to new heights. Ken is a (do you want to mention qualification or perhaps a personal hobby? For e.f. Keen cricketer and chess enthusiast etc.)
Mr. Gautam Karamchandani
Operations Head, Gemsstar Jewelers
Fondly nicknamed Gary by our loyal customers, Mr. Gautam Karamchandani joined the business at a very young age. Recalling his first visit to the store in his early teens, he mentioned “it was love at first sparkle”. Gary got interested in the business at the age of 12 and began learning the trade from his father, Ken. Gary's understanding of the importance of Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, Quality and Pricing in the business was vital in the day-to-day implementation of these aspects in the overall operations at the Company's various business locations.
Being an early beginner in the business, Gary understood customer demand, as well as market needs and changes well. He completed his jewelry designing from the Indo American Center in Mumbai in 1999. He is also a Bachelor of Commerce & Economics from the University of Bombay. In 2000, Gary married Ashi; they have a son named Rahul and a daughter named Trishha. Ashi has played a vital role in setting up the Oberoi Hotel branch, and with her support Gemsstar Jewelers has been in a position to expand and grow our business rapidly.
