Where are Gemsstar Jewelers' products designed and manufactured?

All our jewelry is designed and manufactured in India; except for a few pieces and components like findings, which are imported.

Does Gemsstar Jewelers have a product catalog?

No, at the moment we haven't yet come out with a product catalogue. However, you can view our numerous products online at www.gemsstar.com or write to us at gemsstar37@gmail.com with your requirements and we'll email you some pictures of the products that aren't yet listed on our website.

Gemsstar Jewelers specializes in gemstone jewelry design and manufacture, and also offers regular jeweler offerings that include gold, silver, platinum and diamond jewelry.

Can I commission a custom design?

Yes, we accept orders for custom designed jewelry. Kindly write to us at gemsstar37@gmail.com with your thoughts and ideas, and our team will assist you in how to proceed further with placing an order and making payments. You will also have an option to customize the gold karatage, the diamond color-clarity combination, and select the gemstone of your choice.

Are pendants ordered sold with the chain?

No, but chains can be ordered separately via email. If you wish to add a chain to your order, prior to it being shipped, kindly write to us on gemsstar37@gmail.com.

What standard does Gemsstar Jewelers use to determine ring sizes mentioned on your website / in your PDF Size Guide?

We have mentioned the standard USA ring sizes. In each of our ring product pages, we have given you an option to view or download our Size Guide. This PDF document will assist you in finding out your accurate ring size. You can also use this Wikipedia Reference (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_size) to help understand your ring size. If my ring arrives and it doesn't fit me well, is there a facility for re-sizing rings ordered from Gemsstar Jewelers?

In case your ring does not fit well, we will be happy to replace it with a new ring in the new size, with free to and fro shipping within India. If it is a bigger ring you require, we will only charge you the additional price of the new ring, as listed on our website. For a smaller ring, we will be happy to refund you the additional amount paid by you while placing the initial order. This is applicable on re-sizing requests received within 15 days of delivery date. Currently, this service is available for orders within India only. For international orders, you can take the ring to your local jewelry store for resizing. However, the cost of resizing the ring delivered outside India must be solely borne by the customer.

How do I find a product with a specific metal / style / gem?

We request you to use the dropdown menu under the Boutique tab in our top navigation bar to browse by category or type of piece. We also have very powerful text search which you can use if you wish to view pieces by gemstone. Kindly click on 'Search' in the top right corner of our site and type the name of the gemstone to view various products that feature that gemsstone. You can search for products according to gemstone, style, and metal this way as well.

Does Gemsstar Jewelers sell conflict-free diamonds?

Gemsstar Jewelers uses only conflict-free diamonds which are obtained from legitimate diamond sources that have been certified through the worldwide recognized Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS).

Pricing

Are your prices lower than a local jewelry store?

Yes, our products are offered with no overheads such as rent and inventory costs; a benefit we willingly and happily pass on to our customers. This enables to offer highly competitive pricing when compared with general jewelry retailers.

Do you offer any additional discounts?

No, we do not offer any additional discounts. Our all inclusive MRP is lower than most stores. Our products are offered directly from the manufacturer and with no overheads such as rent, inventory costs, etc. We are able to pass on this benefit to all our customers by way of honest and competitive prices.

What is the money back policy on international orders?

How much does it cost me to have a Gemsstar Jewelers product delivered to my home?

Gemsstar Jewelers offers free shipping on all orders above Rs. 10,000/- total invoice value for delivery in India. For details on shipping costs for international orders, kindly go through our detailed Pricing Policy and Shipping Policy.

What is the process for delivery of my order?

We process domestic deliveries only through reputed insured couriers such as Bluedart. Kindly confirm that we deliver to your Pin Code before placing your order. If there is no courier service available in your area, we do apologize for the inconvenience caused. What is the estimated delivery time for an order?

Most of our products are 'made to order'. It takes us 5 to 15 business days for deliveries within India and 7 to 21 business days for deliveries outside of India; to safely deliver finished jewellery pieces to you. This includes the time taken to individually handcraft each product and ship it to your delivery address. For orders within India, delivery depends on the availability of the product/gemsstones selected as well as the shipping address provided by you. Please note: Business days mentioned above do not include Sundays and festive holidays.

During shipping, how safe is my ordered product?

Your jewelry is shipped in durable packing that ensures that the contents remain intact. Your order is fully insured till it reaches your doorstep, and we only work with reputed and established courier services such as Bluedart for orders within India and Registered Mail/Speed Post for international orders. Once a package has been accepted, Gemsstar Jewelers does entertain returns or disputes claims in certain exceptional cases; else, the customer will need to take up the dispute (if any) with the courier and insurance companies.

For domestic delivery packages that have been tampered with and returned to us, we will be able to process and re-ship your order only once the original consignment is returned to us and the physical product reaches our outlet.

What can I expect from my order in terms of packaging?

For local orders, your jewelry will be shipped in exclusive gift boxes. For international orders, your jewelry will be shipped in pouches that hold your carefully packed jewelry within it. This is done to ease the shipping process and protect the jewelry from possible damage.

Can I change my shipping address after I have place an order?

You CANNOT change your shipping address once an order has been placed.

What if my address changes before my order arrives?

Should your address change post dispatch of order and prior to reaching you, you are requested to intimate us regarding the same via email – gemsstar37@gmail.com. For domestic delivery packages that have been returned to us due to incorrect address, we will be able to process and re-ship your order only once the original consignment is returned to us and the physical product reaches our outlet. In this case, a new order will need to be placed by the user. For international delivery packages that have been returned to us due to incorrect address, we will be UNABLE to re-ship your order unless a new order is placed, keeping in mind that the original consignment has been returned to us and the physical product has reached our outlet.

Are there any restrictions on international shipping?

No, currently there are no restrictions on international shipping. However, this may change if there are any policy changes. We request you to kindly read our Pricing Policy and Shipping Policy carefully prior to placing any orders on our website.

Are there any additional charges on international shipping?

Shipping charges may vary from product to product, depending upon the respective country to which it is being delivered. When you visit our 'View Cart' page you will be able to enter your delivery location and calculate the Shipping Cost that is applicable on your order prior to final checkout and payment.
